Minister for Panchayat and Rural Development, Labor Prahlad Singh Patel, while reviewing departmental activities at Mantralaya here today, gave instructions to develop an effective communication system with regular data updation of e-Panchayats.
Minister Patel was reviewing the technical resources with the Panchayats and their utilization at the Madhya Pradesh Tech e-Panchayat Society.
Principal Secretary Manu Srivastava, Secretary Dhananjay Singh, Director Panchayat Kedar Singh and senior officers were present.
Rural Development Minister Patel gave instructions to prepare a comprehensive website of the department. He said that information about various projects and missions under the Rural Development Department is brought together on one platform.
Patel apprised himself ofthe sets of information about the activities being uploaded in the portal of PanchayatDarpan. He was informed about the completion of works being done in the district and gram panchayats of Narsinghpur district.
Patel also reviewed the activities of Common Service Centers (CSC) operative in rural areas. He asked the officers concerned to efficiently utilizethem. Patel directed the departmental officers that the websites on various departments, projects and programmesshould be updated regularly. He said that the people will be able to know the ongoing activities.
