Bharatiya Janata Party MP and Madhya Pradesh unit president Nandkumar Singh Chouhan while addressing the membership drive in-charges and observers of Ujjain said on Sunday, “Make polling booths the axle of the membership drive and take day-to-day polling booth-wise report of the progress of the drive of your respective area.”
Chouhan addressing the meeting in Ujjain, called on the membership in-charges and observers to indulge in booth centric mega membership drive and make a minimum of 400 members from every polling booth. “The membership drive should continue at the time of celebrating Holi while playing colours,” he added.
CM said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi while replying on President’s address to the Parliament mentioned the unprecedented victory of the party in the civic elections of State making proud the people of the State especially the party workers and office-bearers with whose efforts this victory was achieved.
He termed the decisive partnership of BJP in the constitution of Government in Jammu and Kashmir as a miracle. The country has started walking with the BJP after the 2014 general elections; in our State also there is BJP Government. To strengthen financial base, we need to give political stability and for that peoples support is must. There is slight difference between party supporter and party member, the member pits in all efforts to put forth the party ideology and philosophy. The aim of membership drive is to convert the supporters into members, he added.
He said membership dive is an opportunity, a way a medium for us to prove our leadership qualities. We should all indulge with full might in achieving the target of 2 lakh new members given to us by the national leadership, he added.
