labour welfare social security schemes of Madhya Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Board have been made more beneficiary-oriented and practical. Amounts have been increased under Board’s maternity and marriage assistance, education incentive and cash reward scheme for meritorious students. Nutritious diet allowance to women beneficiaries under maternity assistance scheme has been increased from Rs1,000 to Rs1,400, marriage assistance from Rs15,000 to Rs25,000 and education incentive amount for children of labourers has been raised from Rs5,000 to Rs10,000. Similarly, reward given for passing class V to post-graduation has been increased from Rs500 to Rs3,000 to Rs2,000 to Rs12,000.
