Former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh, in a statement issued to media persons, has termed the High Court’s decision as shocking. He said, “I am appalled and disappointed with the MP High Court order as communicated through Press which has found the report of the tampering by Truth lab Bangalore submitted through Counsel of the Whistle Blower as fabricated and misleading. It is shocking that neither the Truth lab which offered to explain its report nor the Whistle Blower were examined to find the truth in the Truth lab Report.”
He further stated, “I believe that the SIT which a few days back confessed to me it is helpless and powerless has based its report on the submissions of the STF, Indore Police and the Gujarat State Forensic laboratory who in our opinion are prima facie responsible for fabrication and tampering of the Excel sheet evidence or are accomplice to it. As I have not seen or received the formal order passed by the MP High Court I reserve my right to respond on future course of action after consulting my lawyers.”
