The semi final round of audition for a dancing competition Dancing Diva 2014 was held on Saturday at Hotel Ronak Plaza, MP Nagar.
Notably, the Dancing Diva 2014 is a competition aiming to identify the best dancer of Madhya Pradesh. Organised by Riddhi Foundation Welfare Society, the competition endeavors to give chance only to female dance. The aspirants of age from 16 to 25 years registered their names for the competition.
The competition is divided in four parts that would begin with audition, semifinal, final and grand finale. The aspiring dancers showcased their talent in the auditions and gave enthralling performances.
Ashish Dhakar organiser of the event said, “The contest is mainly dedicated to underprivileged girls of the society who rarely get opportunities to showcase their talents before mass.”
There were two auditions held for the aspiring contestants. Under the preliminarily auditions that were held on Saturday, various dancing talents were showcased by the participants leaving the judges mesmerised.
There have been tremendously artistic performances in the auditions. The participants showcased their talent by performing different dance forms on Bollywood tracks. Some amazing acts like Indo-Western fusions, popping and blocking, robotic acts were also showed over the platform.
Famous choreographers of the city like Amar Chandel, Vidhya Thapa and Milind Damde were in the judges’ panel of semi final audition.
Notably, under the preliminary round 30 participants were selected for the semi final auditions. Further 15 best performances would be selected to enter the final auditions to be held on March 1. Next audition for Dancing Diva would be held on February 8 in Indore.
Notably the selected participants would be performing at the Grand Finale to be held on April 6.
The Celebrities and choreographer from Bollywood will judge all contestants and the participants during the Grand Finale of Dancing Diva 2014. Expected Judges are Shaimak Davar, Ganesh Hegde and lawren Gattlieb.
