Cong draws parallels between Governor, CM

Staff Reporter

The Congress alleging that Madhya Pradesh Governor Ramnaresh Yadav being named in the MP Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) scam of the country, demanded his resignation. It also demanded Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s resignation.

MP Congress Committee chief spokesman KK Mishra in a statement here on Tuesday said, “There is similarity between the tendency of crime committed by Governor Yadav and Chief Minister Chouhan and hence we are demanding resignation of both the top leaders. Besides, we demand from the Special Investigation Team (SIT) constituted on orders of the MP High Court to investigate the call details of Special Task force (STF) Additional Director General (ADG) Sudhir Shahi and Investigating Officer (IO) DS Baghel as the STF is working under the State Government.”

Mishra further said that Raj Bhawan and Chief Minister house are equally involved in the biggest educational and recruitment scam of the country– the MPPEB scam. Both Raj Bhawan and Chief Minister house have made recommendations for ineligible candidates and there are enough proofs that the Officer on Special Duty (OSD) of both these VVIPs Dhanraj Yadav and Prem Prasad besides family members of both these VVIPs are also involved in this scam.

If the Raj Bhawan has come to fore as the scene of crime than it has also been proved that the crime was also committed from the chief minister house. In these circumstances if there seems to be similarity in the crime than the criminal case should also be registered against chief minister Chouhan, he added.

He has requested the SIT chief Chandresh Bhushan to investigate the call details of the mega scam investigating agency STF’s ADG Shahi and IO Baghel because the tampering in the documents related to the scam was done in the supervision of these two important officers. Their call details would expose influential persons that they were in constant touch with VVIPs involved in the scam, he added.
