In an ugly turn to the ongoing tussle between the Congress and the BJP, supporters of both parties clashed during the Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony of the 1000 bed hospital at The Theme Road on Wednesday.
During the tussle, Munnalal Goyal, the Congress MLA from Gwalior East was manhandled and FIRs were registered at the Jhansi Road police station against some BJP Yuva Morcha workers.
While the Congress said that their MLA, Munnalal was injured during the tussle, the BJP claimed that false cases are being registered against them to settle political scores.
Earlier Munnalal Goyal, who was hospitalized for a brief period of time after the alleged brawl had registered a case against some Yuva Morcha workers. According to the FIR, the Yuva Morcha workers have been charged with causing injuries and giving threats.
Peeved at the cases registered against them, the Yuva Morcha has decided to show black flag to Jyodiraditya Scindia, the Guna MP, who they think is responsible for the cases against them.
