The e-lobby of Central Bank of India was inaugurated at the Bhopal Haat, here on Saturday. Additional Chief Secretary in Panchayat and Rural Development and Social Justice Aruna Sharma opened the lobby.
On the occasion, Sharma said that Self-help groups and people from far flung areas have visited and displayed their arts form which gave a different touch to culture values and added that the step being taken by the Central Bank of India to provide banking facilities to these groups was a commendable step.
Every time when a new fair is organised at the Bhopal Haat, a new dimension was explored and came with something unique and it was the result of the will of performing something better and brilliant that Bhopal was awarded with ‘Best Product’ in Regional Saras Mela organised in Srinagar. A seminar for the customers was also organized in which different beneficial schemes of the bank were informed and requested to get benefit from the schemes.
Managing Director of Rural Development Bibhash Kumar Thakur provided information on the expansion plans and improvement of facilities at the Bhopal Haat. Customers, senior citizens, employees of Rural Development Department and Central Bank of India were present.
