The University School of Management Studies (USMS), IP University organised a one-week workshop on data analysis at its Dwarka campus. The workshop was attended by 47 experts who came from across the country. They focused on advanced tools of research including confirmatory factor analysis, structural equation modelling, analytic hierarchy process etc.
During the workshop, eminent professors like Prof CP Gupta, Prof V.Shekhar, Dr HK Dangi, Dr Garima Mittal, Prof Sanjeev Mittal and Dr Ajay Chauhan shared the details about undertaking research and carrying it out in an impactful manner. Dr Dangi and Dr Chauhan threw light on the importance of structural equation modelling and shared their practical experiences about applications of the tool.
Prof Gupta and Prof Shekhar highlighted the importance of research in academics and discussed issues to be borne in mind while undertaking research. According to Prof Sanjeev Mittal, dean, USMS, the main objective of organising this workshop was to improve upon the quality of research by the use of latest technology and software.
