The University of Strathclyde, Glasgow is inviting applications for BEng Hons Manufacturing Engineering with Management course (four years) starting in September 2021.
Students will learn to combine virtual and physical design and prototyping in the university’s digital design suite. Every physical product you come into contact with has been manufactured and the industry’s demand for those skilled in this area continues to increase.
Students will benefit from guaranteed industrial experience to develop and apply their skills as a product design engineer within the real world and add to their CV, through the Industrial Group Project modules.
Manufacturing Engineering with Management blends a more technical engineering focus (such as mechanics, manufacturing, electronics, maths, programming, engineering calculations of a product's design) with production and management principles, and technology such as operational improvement and quality management.
Eligibility: 70-75 per cent in all subjects taken at level XII and the same at level X. Marks should be particularly strong in the proposed area of study. IELTS requirement is 6.5 (no individual element below 5.5).
