A team of senior researchers, academicians and administrators from the National Design and Research Forum (NDRF), The Institution of Engineers (India), Visvesvaraya Technological University, and the State Project Facilitation Unit (SPFU) are visiting Canadian universities and academic institutions. This is done as an effort to consolidate the technological research ecosystem in Karnataka. The 35-member delegation will be engaging with CANEUS International, and Trade and Invest British Columbia (TAIBC) to identify Canadian university, academia and industry partners for forging alliances leading to multifarious collaborative research programmes at institutional, departmental and researcher levels. The delegation will be in Canada from October 18 to November 1, 2013. Dr l V Muralikrishna Reddy, director, NDRF and Dr U Chandrasekhar, director, Engineering Staff College of India (ESCI) would be leading the delegation.
