SRMJEEE – UG
The SRM University will be conducting SRMJEEE – Joint Entrance Examination Engineering to provide admission to the students in its BTech degree programme in the faculty of Engineering and Technology for all of its group universities at Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, Vadapalani and NCR-Delhi campuses of SRM University, SRM University AP Amaravati, SRM University Haryana Sonepat. SRM Universities are introducing Inter Disciplinary Experiential Active learning (IDEAl) environment. A student who is doing a Major in a subject shall have an option of Major specialisation enabling him/her deep learning or do Minors enabling him/her to learn courses within the same discipline or across the discipline.
Mode of examination
SRMJEEE would be a computer based test conducted across India in 130 centres and few centres in Middle East countries.
Eligibility
BTech programmes: For admission at Kattankulathur, Ramapuram and Vadapalani campuses, a minimum of 60 per cent aggregate in PCM/PCB is required. For admissions at NCR, Delhi campus, a minimum 55 per cent aggregate in PCM/PCB in Higher secondary examination (10+2) is required. For International Baccalaureate (IB), aspirant should have scored A-level with PCM or PCB as major subjects in any International schools within India. Those appearing in Higher Secondary examination in PCM/PCB or Biotechnology as major subjects in regular stream from CBSE, ISCE, Matriculation, or NIOS Boards can also apply.
Scholarship
SRM University offers several scholarships, fee waiver schemes, teaching & research assistance to meritorious students. NRI candidates who qualify in SRMJEEE 2018 and compete with the domestic candidates through the regular counselling process will get a 35 per cent scholarship on the tuition fee applicable for international students, for all four years. They have an option to directly apply under International admission category and get admission in any programme/ campus without taking SRMJEEE by paying the international tuition fee.
Important Dates
The last date to apply online is March 31 2018. The exam will be held from April 16 to 30 and the result will be out on May 3. The session will be commencing from July 16, 2018.
