The James Cook University, Singapore will be conducting scholarship tests in Kolkata and Chennai. The students are offered scholarships ranging from up to 50 per cent of master’s degree of course fee around Rs8 lakh (S$16050), for masters in Business/IT/Tourism Subjects and up to 50 per cent of bachelor’s degree of course fee around Rs11 lakh (S$23832) for bachelor’s degree in Business/IT/Psychology.
Schedule: Kolkata — St Xavier’s College on May 4, 2014 from 11 am. Chennai — IIT Madras on May 11, 2014 from 11 am.
The test paper is designed by JCU academic staffs in a combination of English and aptitude component in general. In brief, the following topics will be covered: Antonyms, sentence completion, mathematics based questions and GK questions. There are no negative marks for any wrong answers. Evaluation will be based on work out for right answers in the adjacent side of particular questions.
Cardiff University Business School offers India scholarships for enrolling on any postgraduate taught degree programme. This scholarship consists of a fee reduction of £5,000.
Eligibility: Scholarships will be awarded on merit, taking into account academic performance as well as the potential benefit of postgraduate study and the scholarship award for both the scholar and his/her community.
Duration: For one year.
