Our ego narrows our scope of vision and prompts us to take seeming realities at face value. Consequently, we instinctively respond to any situation without forethought
We all wish to enjoy a successful and a happy life with ease and comfort. Truth, however, remains that odds in the way are heavy and life does not necessarily move according to one’s asking. For, every individual is born unique, driven by an inherent sense of freedom, and each carrying one’s own individual-specific mental propensities, often at crossroads with others. The world, thus, constitutionally remains a natural breeding ground for conflicting thoughts and interests. What further compounds the problem is the sense of dual perception driving our minds, whereby one’s own choice becomes vulnerable to run to extremes. That makes us susceptible to our own conflicting thoughts.
Fortunately for us, we are also empowered with the faculty to discriminate intelligence so as to take on the challenges ahead. Applying this prerogative, one could dispassionately discriminate upon the issues in hand with an open mind and pick up the most appropriate lead.
The irony of the situation, however, is that our ego often plays spoil-sport with our discriminative faculty. First, it does not allow us to look beyond the callings of our preconditioned minds, thus narrowing down our scope of vision. Our discriminative faculty gets compromised in the way. Second, it prompts us to take the seeming realities on its face value, leaving no scope for due diligence to figure out the underlying truth. Consequently, one gets tempted to instinctively respond to any situation without applying proper forethought. Naturally, when you stifle your own empowerment tool, the probability of inviting problems gets pronounced.
What then is the way out for a smooth run of lifeIJ Here, philosophy comes into play to provide us with the right lead. It makes us aware of the dynamics of life in holistic terms, writ large in the nature itself, and which holds the key to all aspects of our existential order. Going by philosophic perception, the universe is a unified intelligent organism, we being small players in its exhaustive and complex game plan. In nature’s scheme of things, there remains a unity underlying all diverse existences, set into an interdependent mechanism. That calls for complementing and supplementing the efforts each other to together meet our essential existential needs, be it at the family level or society at large. For, individually, we are all born imperfect and incomplete. Once, this fundamental truth dawns upon us, we will remain conscious about our collective duties and obligations while attending to our individualistic aspirations and inklings.
Remember, against every infirmity one may have, invariably there are many virtues, which need to be dwelt upon more. In our usual run of life, however, we get stuck to other’s weaknesses so much that we often forget to take note of their positives, and naturally to one’s detriment. But all said and done, philosophic perception of life alone will not help much unless we try to figure out and address our individual weaknesses. life then will naturally turn better. Astrology can serve here as an effective diagnostic tool.
The other day, a lady worried about the future ramifications of the usual day-to-day tiffs with her husband, came asking about prospects of her marital stability and happiness. It did not straightaway get into her head when I said that the choice was hers. I had to further explain how it is important for the couple to work upon their individual attitudinal problems for a happy married life. On the contrary, if they continue to conduct mindlessly as they have been doing so far, their usual day-to-day squabbles could eventually take disastrous consequences.
let us look at the lady’s astrological pointers. No planet in any of her earthy signs implies that she lacks worldly wisdom. Sun placed adverse to Jupiter as well as Rahu, points to her swaggering ego, which binds her to self-defined parameters and usually not open to look beyond. And if things ever happen contrary to her perceptions, she may react aggressively. If that would not be enough, she also carries seeds of high levels of anger as would mind-signifier Moon placed adverse to fiery Mars imply. On top of that is the placement of Moon in Sagittarius, which makes her tactless, undiplomatic and habitually suspicious, who may often offend those around on account of her indiscreet and ill-timed instinctive statements. Her virtues are immense, but that often gets overshadowed by her infirmities. Should she work upon her weaknesses, I am sure her marital life will turn into a beautiful experience.
