The phenomenal world is driven by the self-automated universal law of karma. In this scheme of things, human beings are bound to a cause-and-effect chain, whereby there has to be a cause behind every effect, which in turn sets the ground for subsequent effect.

To sum up, what we do this moment will decide how future would unfold for us. Following this chain, every human being goes through volleys of learning and unlearning experiences, both good and bad. The memory imprints of these experiences involuntarily build an individual-specific belief pattern, which shapes one’s mind-trends accordingly.

Following the above stated nature-driven law, every individual begins life with a baggage full of good and bad beliefs. And how our minds believe define the way we conduct in life, with related bearing on our future life. Evidently, the character and content of our belief pattern defines the way invariably a person conducts in life, being the cause of quality of life one would enjoy in future. Experience suggests that invariably every individual presents himself/herself as a split personality, intermittently reflecting the implications of the positives and negatives in the mind’s store, depending on the momentary environmental or internal mental trigger. For, the majority of people just mindlessly leave themselves to the usual flow of life. And that remains the cause of the pleasures and pains in life we are accosted with, which we often believe as a call of destiny.

The question now is: Are we really so bound to our destinies that we cannot afford to bring about a qualitative improvement through conscious effortsIJ What we usually forget that if we are subject to a cause-effect chain, we are also endowed with the power of freewill, which is duly aided by the faculty of discriminate intelligence. This exclusive human prerogative empowers us to self-reflect upon our inherent frame of mind, identify our negatives, address them, and set the premise for the positives to come up with their optimum best. We can thus lay down the ground for a better tomorrow. The irony, however, is that invariably we use our power of freewill to mindlessly pursue our whims and fancies, and with obvious consequences.

Those who somehow are not able to dispassionately identify one’s inherent personality traits can take the help of astrology. A case in point is that of a gentleman having suffered long on account of his own inherent infirmities and who seeks assistance for some divine intervention. He is first made aware of his own fault lines and then advised that it would be better to address one’s own negative trends rather than looking for the improbable. For, his own infirmities have been failing him by not allowing the positives coming into full play.

look at the man’s astrological pointers. His combust Venus locks horns with mind-signifier Moon, which points to his impaired emotional frame. That makes him too much emotionally touchy and sensitive, whereby he gets over exited even on trivial issues. That also accounts for his unpredictable mood swings. Intelligence indicator Mercury is placed adverse to fiery Mars, intellectually-ordained Uranus and mischievous Neptune. That, in the first place, makes him irritable, bad tempered, hyper-critical, argumentative and restless. Second, he is eccentric and opinionated. The worst is his impaired sense of reasoning and judgment. Uranus placed adverse to Neptune brings in nervousness. The above astrological alignments when read together with Mars placed adverse to Neptune, makes him vulnerable to inferiority complex. And that gets him into unnecessarily brooding and contemplation over his own self-assumed fears and uncertainties, which eventually makes him mentally fatigued. He, thus, keeps mindlessly misdirecting his energies and mind-space towards unproductive ends, and with obvious consequences. He can still turn the table to his advantage on the strength of the positives in him, provided he gets over his infirmities.
