Every child born in this world is made different, each reflecting varying trends of mind and psyche, coming as it may with the memory imprints that they would have picked up in their previous births. Accordingly, they display varying trends of emotion, each reacting and responding to a given situation differently. Even twins born to a mother and groomed in similar circumstances behave differently. Unless the children are guided to make amends in their negativities through sustained course of learning and unlearning, their mind-trends continue even late in life.
It, therefore, becomes incumbent upon the parents to figure out individual-specific mind-trends of their children of which seldom they remain conscious about. It will then be possible for them to lead their children appropriately. For, similar norms will not work on different children. A norm applied on one child may instead of helping the other child could mess up his/her thought process.
A couple years back, I used to observe my neighbour, a teacher by profession, handling his two children differently. He handled one child very strictly, whereas he did not interfere in the other child’s working. “Was it because he loved one more than the other”, I asked my neighbour one day. My neighbour explained, “I know that if I exert pressure on one of them, he will lose interest. For, he detests goading. But I keep an eye on him and, when needed, lovingly ask him to reflect on the advice I offer, and he responds. If I put pressure on him, he will eventually turn defiant. The other child is a habitual escapist. If I am not strict with him, he will not study.” And when the final school results of the two children came, both came out with flying colours.
It is, therefore, very important for the parents to figure out individual trends of their children for them to do justice to each child’s need. In this respect, astrology can prove a very effective diagnostic tool to find out the basic fabric of a child’s making. A case in point is that of a teenage boy not performing well. The basic reason: He does not take his parents’ strict commandments kindly. Being emotionally fragile, he takes it to his heart. He thus loses his focus and performs poorly at the exam. When explained, the parents countered by saying that they were duty bound to discipline their child the way they successfully conducted the elder child. I had to deliberate upon the different psyches of the two children to make the parents understand.
look at the astrological pointers of the boy in question. Emotion-signifying planet Venus is combust and also placed opposite mind-signifying Moon. The implication is that the boy is emotionally unstable, too touchy and sensitive, having unpredictable mood swings. He takes every interference in his private domain to his heart and stretches it beyond its due. In the process, he loses track of his priority preferences. Intelligence-indicator Mercury placed opposite intellectually-ordained Uranus and mischievous Neptune further add to his woes. That makes him restless, opinionated, confused, nervous, unconventional and delusional. He, thus, invites too much of internal conflict and becomes vulnerable to misdirect his energies towards unproductive ends. All these negatives cloud his strengths so much that it could not be made use of. And as a result, the child suffers. Strict commandments will not work on this child. He needs to be tended lovingly. I wish that the parents understand this now and behave as advised, and very soon the boy will begin to perform to the satisfaction of everybody.
