While discussing the concept of meditation, it was explained in the previous issue why it is important to identify the specific mantra and its corresponding symbol for every individual seeker. For, that alone could address the individual-specific infirmities and help rebuild one’s personality in way that one could intelligently and smartly negotiate the callings of the emerging times. One, thus, could lay down the ground for a better tomorrow.
However, in order to make the most out of the meditation process, it is important to first prepare grounds for pursuing meditation in right earnest. That calls for detoxifying the mind so as to purge the inconsequential and negative memory imprints carried over from the past that often cloud our vision. And it needs no elaboration that clouded vision would prompt us to get into unintelligent acts and with obvious ramifications. The negative memory imprints thus eased out, we could get rid of a lot of inbuilt fear and resident insecurities, which in turn raises our level of confidence and helps one invoking one’s own faith. With the inconsequential memories taken care of in the process, lots of distracting elements within the mind are taken care of, which helps improve our focus on priority preferences. And, with the cleared mind-space, the scope of our vision and intelligence expands. This process which again is a format of meditation, by itself, is enough to bring in enough of positive dividends. Having pursued this process for a while, one becomes qualified to take up guided-meditation as suggested in the previous issue, which then helps reframe one’s personality.
The mind-detoxification process is simple and safe, which can be taken up by anybody. The process will, however, work better and move faster if it is done under proper guidance.
