The essence of nature of a tree and the quality of fruits it bears are rooted in the seed that breeds it. Of course, environmental condition can partially modify its outward manifestation a bit, but on the whole, the basic character will remain the same. So is the unique character of every individual; desire and functional traits such as habits, attitudes, perceptive and comprehensive abilities, level of intelligence are all rooted in the memory imprints carried over from the past birth but with a difference. Human beings enjoy greater scope for modifying their inherent traits through conscious efforts.
That makes it incumbent upon us to explore how one’s mind is inherently framed for wilful corrective initiatives. In this respect, one’s astrological chart serves as a proficient diagnostic tool. For, an astrological chart is nothing but energy mapping of the heaven at the time of one’s birth. And energy knows no bias. So, an astrological chart is able to reflect upon the particular energy-platform on which a being is raised, and which spells out the basic fabric of one’s mind’s making. It is pertinent to note here that mind enjoys the exclusive privilege to define and drive one’s performing-self.
The other day someone who regularly visits me seeking advice on his career concerns was there with me for almost two hours. During the period, he discussed so many things of his immediate concern as well as those of common interest, but forgot to ask what he had actually come for. It was only after he left that he recalled and then called me asking whether his marital break was imminent, as it had become unbearable to bear with his wife’s continued idiosyncrasies. I immediately put a counter question: “Had you a fight this morningIJ” He answered in the affirmative. I then asked him to cool down before taking call on such major issues.
The problem with the man is that his thought process is so complex that he cannot see even trivial issues, and day-to-day problems, in their true light. He, in fact, mugs up even usual differences of opinion beyond their due and then remain caught up in that mesh for long. In the process, he often loses his sense of reasoning and thereby direction. As a consequence, he can’t perceive even simple issues in the right perspective, loses his sense of priority, and misdirects his energies towards unproductive ends. He then becomes susceptible to unmindfully react and respond unintelligently, and naturally to his detriment. Caught up in such self-created mess, it becomes difficult for him to appreciate others’ concerns. No wonder his marital life has gone for a toss. What he forgets is that just shifting the blame on others for everything is not going to help him anyway. He needs to first look at the projections of his own mind and set them right before expecting from others to prove true to him.
let us look at astrological markers of his mind-frame. Mind indicator Moon occupies his lagna sign Sagittarius, which is locked in adverse formation to Uranus, Neptune, Saturn, and Jupiter. This planetary alignment, in the first place points to his tactless and un-diplomatic mannerism, known for his ill-timed and indiscrete reactions. Second, he would have a mercurial temperamental, cantankerous and high-strung nature. Third, he has a negative mindset, jealous by nature, and critical of others, habitually suspicious of others, and moody. Fourth, he should be a habitual escapist stuck to his self-delusions, who needs to guard against day dreaming. He does not acknowledge truth on its first appearance, rather he holds on to his self-assumptions on hope against hope till clearly knocked down. Fifth, ill-disposed off Jupiter also being conjunct Neptune implies that he carries peculiar self-defined beliefs, and assuming them to be absolute truth may try to impose on others. Sixth, he should be emotionally volatile, who stretches even trivial issues beyond their due.
Mercury, identified with general intelligence being placed adverse to Rahu, accounts for his flawed judgment, and which does not allow him to remain focused to his priority preferences. He may rather waste his time and energy dabbling into uncalled for issues. Mars placed adverse to Neptune implies that he is susceptible to suffer from inferiority complex which makes him vulnerable to ignorantly misdirect his energies into self-destructive acts. On top of that is debilitated Sun placed adverse to Rahu, whereby, he lacks the will needed for timely correction of his frailties. And the result is there for all to see.
