Picking up threads from the previous issue, it comes out that the seed of love is ingrained in human construct. We, thus, naturally carry the inner urge for love. But hardly anybody understands what love really means. Infatuation or sensuous urges are often misunderstood as love. You may like somebody and get drawn towards him/her. But that’s a seeming reality, more often limited to physical paradigm, not true love.
If it is not true love, you just become passionate about the one you are attracted towards, and build up expectations from the other side. So long as the expectation is met even partially, grudgingly though at times but the relationship carries on. But those just moving at the peripheral level, their impressionable minds remain vulnerable to get pulled by other influences, when they may not be able to meet other’s expectation. It then invites acrimony. Unmindfully then, a blame game begins, whence the very foundation of the relationship could get shaken.
Nothing of the kind would happen in case of true love, such as mother-child relationship. For, the sense of love is firmly rooted within, and is intrinsic in nature, and therefore would never be conditional. It is never desired, articulated, willed and pursued; it is spontaneous. So, even if some child neglects the mother, in majority of cases latter’s sense of love would not get marginalised. In a few cases even man-woman relationship is pursued in a similar mode. In such cases, the bond never gets weakened, even if it at times happens to pass through painful phases.
Since the urge for love is intrinsic to a being, if ever deprived, the void within keeps you unnerved. You are then virtually sitting on a tinder box, which would be in flames at just the touch of a spark. At such vulnerable moments of life, you may get carried over by just a soft touch from someone. Unmindfully, flowing to the current, they may move on together for a while. Sooner than later, one out of the two may realise that it was just an instinctive move, not firmly grounded. One may then get into a withdrawal mode, which invites serious resistance from the other side. Emotional turbulence that follows, takes a toll on one’s mind-state difficult to bear with. Caught up in this bind, a weakling could even turn suicidal. Counselling such characters to bring them around becomes a tough call. For, an emotionally over-surcharged mind trapped in its bind, often goes blind.
The question now is: Is there any scope to avoid such traumatic experiencesIJ Will a lesson in what love means serve any purposeIJ Not as such. For, only those having a disorderly mind remain vulnerable to instinctive acts. So, what is needed is to watch out one’s mind-trends and address the indwelling vulnerabilities. Ordinarily, we make our thought process so complicated that caught up in its bind, we hardly allow any scope for processing our thoughts objectively. But for which, it becomes difficult to intelligently deal with the challenges coming our way. Consequently, more often than not, we keep circling around an issue, but simple truth lying in the front eludes our attention.
In one such case, someone lent soft touch to friend deprived of love. The instinctive response set into motion a relationship. As life moved on for a while, one of them felt that the calling of relationship was too much demanding. That person immediately got into a withdrawal mode, and began behaving unreasonably purposely to create distance. Not been able to withstand the pressure, the other friend turned suicidal. The person’s guru had a real tough time taking the disciple out of that predicament.
look at the complex character of the friend who got into withdrawal mode. Cluster of 6 planets in the lagna sign itself speaks volumes of a complex mind. Combust Venus, read together with erratic Rahu in the 7th and presence of 7th lord in the 6th pointed to failed marriage. Jupiter conjunct Mercury and Ketu, all three ill-disposed off to mischievous Neptune, account for the person’s peculiar beliefs, as well as insensible reasoning and judgment. The Sun conjunct Saturn speaks of a negative mind vulnerable to get into a denial mode. On top of that is Moon’s placement in Gemini, which implies that the person would wish to live on one’s own exclusive terms, not caring for other’s sensibilities. The question here is not simply the survival or failure of the relationship, but at the least living in peace by oneself, which calls for immediate cleansing of mind.
