A training program of Youth Parliament in-charges was organized through video conferencing at Pt. Kunjilal Dubey Rashtriya Sansadiya Vidyapeeth, Bhopal. Additional Chief Secretary Parliamentary Affairs Department Shri KC Gupta participated in its inaugural session.
Addressing the program, the Additional Chief Secretary told the Youth Parliament in charge that India’s democracy has a special identity in the world due to its uniqueness. Our country is known as the largest democratic country in the world. He said that the role of the Youth Parliament in charge is more important. Maximum participation of students should be ensured by staging the Youth Parliament in the educational institutions. He said that children and youth are the future of the country. They need to know about the parliamentary system. Dr. N.K. Thapak Vice Chancellor of LNCT University and Dr. Dharmendra Pare, Director of Tribal Museum also addressed the program.
In his address, at the outset, the Director of the Sansadiya Peeth, Pratima Yadav said that this Sansadiya Peeth has been operating since 1998. Efforts are being made to give information about the principles of the parliamentary system to children and youth through the Sansadiya Peeth. In today’s program held at the Peteh, through video conferencing, youth parliament in-charges of schools of the state and colleges of Barkatullah University, Bhopal were given detailed information about staging the Youth Parliament.
