Woman kills her elder sister by poisoning in Arera Hills area

Arera Hills police have booked a woman who killed her elder sister, who was opposing the love marriage of younger sister by poisoning her at Gwal Mohalla.

As soon as the woman died she eloped with her lover. It is said that the boyfriend of the accused girl is also supporting her in the plan to kill her sister. The police are investigating the matter.

In the case of the death of a woman two months ago in Gwal Mohalla of Bhopal, the police registered a case of murder against her younger sister. The police have registered this case on the basis of the statement of the family members and the postmortem report. The accused has not been arrested yet.

According to Arera Hills Police, 25-year-old Gayatri lived with her family in Berasia area along with her husband Dharmendra Yadav. His maternal home is in Gwal Mohalla of Bhopal. Gayatri came to her maternal home in the month of November. Her  health deteriorated on November 24. She was first admitted to Jaypee Hospital for treatment. Later she was taken to Hamidia Hospital where he died on November 26, 2023.

Gayatri had said in her dying declaration that on the day of the incident, she had taken thyroid medicine after having food. After taking this medicine he started feeling nervous. The police established a route and investigated. During the investigation, when the postmortem report came, the cause of death was said to be poisonous substance.

After this the police started the investigation afresh. During investigation it was revealed that Gayatri's younger sister Bulbul Sen was in love with a young man. She wanted to marry that young man. Everyone in the house was against this marriage.

There were fights in the house on this issue every day. Bulbul was not ready to accept anyone's words. Gayatri had come to her parents' house to make Bulbul understand. Before the incident, Gayatri and Bulbul had a fight.  TI Jai Hind Sharma said that on the basis of a postmortem report and statement of family members, a case of murder has been registered against Bulbul. Further, Gayatri's viscera will also be examined.
