The Bharatiya Janata Party on Saturday announced the party's manifesto committee comprising 27 members, which also includes the name of Union Tribal Affairs cum Agriculture Minister Arjun Munda. Apart from Munda, four Chief Ministers of BJP ruled states have also been included in the committee. The list includes names of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Chhattisgarh CM Vishnudev Sai.
Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has been made the chairman of the Manifesto Committee. At the same time, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has been given the responsibility of the post of coordinator, while Piyush Goyal will handle the work of co-convenor.
Other leaders whose names are included in the committee are Kiren Rijiju, Ashwini Vaishnav, Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Vasundhara Raje and Smriti Irani. All of them have been asked to handle their work with immediate effect.
The BJP has also released the list of its star campaigners for Madhya Pradesh. There are names of total 40 leaders in it. Apart from PM Narendra Modi, seven Union Ministers have been included in these. Apart from all this, Chief Ministers of six BJP ruled states will also be seen seeking votes for different candidates in Madhya Pradesh. Leaders like Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, former CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and state BJP President VD Sharma have been kept in the list of star campaigners.
