Continuous efforts are being made by the Urban Administration Development Department to make transportation facilities accessible in the urban areas of the state. A proposal of the Urban Administration Department was approved in the Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav here today. He gave instructions that transport facilities should be expanded to serve people in urban areas.
In view of providing urban transport facilities to citizens in the urban areas of the state, Urban Development and Housing Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya had appealed to the Union Urban Development Ministry to give allocation as per demand under this head, which has been accepted by the Central Government.
