A bauxite truck JH 07E-6671 parked on the side of Lohardaga Gumla main road NH 143A, near the forest department depot of Senha police station area under Lohardaga district, collided with an Alto car JH 01N-5743 and crashed into a tree. Due to which two people in the car died, while five people were injured. As soon as trainee SP cum station in-charge Vedant Shankar received the information about the incident, on his instructions, ASI Rajesh Ram Lohar, Jamshed Khan along with his team reached the spot, took stock of the incident, took possession of the damaged car and started taking further action. According to eyewitnesses, the Alto car was going towards Senha from Lohardaga.
The driver is said to be driving very fast and carelessly. Whereas this incident remains a topic of discussion among the local people. It is said that all the occupants of the car were drunk and were said to be driving recklessly. The injured were identified as Anish Oraon, Suraj Oraon, residents of Kisko police station area and Anu Oraon, Chandu Oraon and Anuj Oraon, residents of Baksideepa Dhoda Toli of Senha police station area. After investigation, doctors confirmed the death of Anish Oraon and Anu Oraon while being taken to the hospital. In this context, the police administration said that according to the villagers, the road accident occurred due to the negligence of the Alto car driver. Stating that the police have started further action after investigation.
