Tikamgarh police have arrested two accused who were involved in sexually assaulting a minor tribal girl, the case was registered after it was instructed by the SP and only then the police took action.
At the time when this incident occurred, the victim's family was outside the house, after the family came, the girl was not telling anyone due to fear. The matter came to light after her health deteriorated.
The incident matter is of Khargapur police station area of Tikamgarh district of Madhya Pradesh, a minor tribal girl working on her farm was gang raped by two youths of the same village. After this, the accused also threatened the girl that if she told anyone, they would kill her. Due to the threatening, the girl did not inform anyone about this, but when her health started deteriorating, she told this to her mother. After which the police were informed.
Khargapur police said that the girl was sexually assaulted around 11 days ago. The victim's family met the Superintendent of Police during the visit of the district's in-charge minister Krishna Gaur, after which the case was registered.
After this, the police team took immediate action and took both the accused into police custody. These accused are being questioned. A special woman police officer has also been sent for recording the statement of the minor.
Meanwhile a day before the Tikamgarh incident five youths gang-raped a minor girl in the forest of Kalyanpur in Kotwali police station area of Shahdol. Within just 24 hours of the incident, the police arrested all the accused.
The administration's bulldozer was run on their house. All the five accused were residents of village Kalyanpur police station Kotwali Shahdol. The girl had left the house to study tuition with a young man known to her. Late in the evening, five youths living nearby raped her forcibly in turns in the forest of Kalyanpur and fled from the spot.
