The second edition of the one-day girls category "Tarun Ghosh Memorial Gold Tournament", organized in the memory of famous football player and coach Late Tarun Ghosh, was organized by Tarun Ghosh Football Club, (TGFC) Dhurwa, run by his wife Keya Ghosh and daughter Ginia Ghosh at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Dhurwa.

Former Deputy Mayor Ranchi Ajay Nath Shah Deo graced the event as a chief guest.Tea ms from Deoghar, Lohardaga, Silli, Jhalda, Khunti, Dibdih, Dhurwa participated in the tournament.

Tarun Ghosh Football Club (TGFC) Dhurwa emerged victorious in the thrilling final match played between the teams of Khunti and TGFC Dhurwa.

Late Tarun Ghosh founded this club in 1980. He used to provide free training to all the players as well as  jerseys, shoes, sports equipment, food, medication etc. to underprivileged players at his own expense.  Many players trained by him have demonstrated their talent at the national level and are also working on various posts.

After the untimely demise of Late Tarun Ghosh ji in the year 2021, this academy is being run in the same form by his wife Keya Ghosh and daughter Ginia Ghosh.

On the occasion, Ajay Nath Shah Deo congratulated the winning team TGFC and wished all the players participating in the tournament a bright future. He said that the way Tarun Da's wife Keya Ghosh and daughter Ginia Giosh are carrying forward his legacy , no amount of praise would be enough for them.

At present, the coach of this academy is Avinash Toppo. The children of the academy are making TGFC and Jharkhand proud in the world of football. The children of Fantasy Cultural Academy played an important role as volunteers in organizing this tournament.

On this occasion Ved Prakash Singh, Suchita Rani, JFA Coordinator Ashish Bose, Subhash Mukherjee, Shyam Nandu Mandal, Motilal Pradhan, Rajkumar Senapati, Imtiaz Alam, Maqsood Alam, Prabhat Kumar Rajan, Mahli Gadi, Sajal Banerjee, Shiv Vachan, Arun Lal, Gurdeep, members of Maa Subhadra Group and other sports lovers were present.
