The 2 day CGLE went off peacefully and incident free. It started on September 21 ending today September 22.
Nodal officer Kundan Kumar who is the additional collector here said "The two day exams were successfully conducted. It was a great team work. Everyone did his best."
There was a total of 7, 746 candidates each for the first and second day of the CGLE here.
Additional collector Kundan Kumar said "There were too many absentees on both the days."
On day 1 September 21 the number of candidates who skipped their CGLE stood at 2,862.
Again on the second day September 22, the number of the absentees was 2, 175.
There were 16 examination centres here reminded Kundan Kumar. All the exam centres were fitted with CCTV cameras and jammers. Biometric attendance system was put in place at each of the 16 exam centres.
A night ahead of the first day of the CGLE, Palamu administration had detected 93 lakhs of rupees from two people who had checked in in a prestigious hotel here.
The income tax officials are looking into this cash.
The cash is not related to this CGLE here cleared the SP Reeshma Ramesan.
Kundan Kumar said we had trained our workforce hard to leave no chance of any mess up at any stage of the conduct of the CGLE.
Right from opening the right set of the paper shift wise down to its packing up of the used OMR sheet etc and un used ones all the tasks were performed with the clinical accuracy and precision reminded the additional collector.
