Special policy will be made for artists of Jharkhand: CM

Chief Minister Hemant Soren today attended the closing ceremony of the two-day "Jharkhand Adivasi Mahotsav, 2024" organized at the historical campus of Birsa Munda Smriti Udyan Ranchi on the occasion of World Tribal Day. On the occasion, the CM said that in the year 2025, a special policy will be made by the state government for the artists of Jharkhand. The Chief Minister said that the artists of the state are working to preserve the art and culture of Jharkhand. His government will work to take the artists here forward by making a better policy and action plan in the coming days so that the artists of Jharkhand can showcase their talent in the country and the world and bring glory to the state.

The CM said that the artists of our state Jharkhand We are constantly trying to take the art and culture of Jharkhand forward. Their efforts will be strengthened further. He said that Jharkhand has a distinct identity in the whole world in the field of sports and art and culture. He said that if we talk about the field of sports, the players of Jharkhand have made an important contribution in Hockey India. The women players of this state have achieved a different position in the women's hockey team of the country.

Soren said that it is the rainy season at this time. There is enthusiasm in the minds of the people associated with the farm and barn and there is also enthusiasm in the minds of the people having social concerns. The Chief Minister said that Jharkhand is a tribal-dominated state. The people of the tribal society here work to preserve the art and culture here. The rich art and culture of the state is also directly connected to nature. He said that song and dance are an important part of the art and culture here, which continues uninterrupted. In this episode, many cultural programs are performed in the Jharkhand Tribal Festival organized on the occasion of World Tribal Day. He said that while facing many challenges, the people of the tribal society are struggling to save their art-culture, lifestyle and rich tribalism.

The CM said that whether it is the business world, the field of judiciary, the field of doctors, engineers, or even if we talk about IAS, IPS, even then only a few people of the tribal society have been able to make their place in these fields. He said that it is not that the people of our tribal society are not moving forward. Now the young men and women and students of the tribal society are making their mark in different fields. The Chief Minister said that Jharkhand is not known only for rivers, mountains, hills or mineral wealth but it is also known for a rich human force.

On this occasion, Minister Hafizul Hasan, Rajya Sabha MP Mahua Maji, MLA Kalpana Soren, MLA Anoop Singh, MLA Mangal Kalindi, MLA Amba Prasad, MLA Bhushan Tirkey, Chief Secretary L. Khiangte, Principal Secretary Vandana Dadel, Secretary Kripananda Jha, Tribal Welfare Commissioner Ajay Nath Jha, IG Akhilesh Jha, DIG Anoop Birathre, other senior officials of the state government and other dignitaries were present.
