Skill discussion organized by ISECT and SGSU concludes

On the occasion of World Youth Skills Day, the five-day "Kaushal Charcha" program being organized by ISECT at Scope Global Skills University concluded on Friday.

On this occasion, a panel discussion was organized on "Future Skills - Preparing the Workforce for Tomorrow: Challenges and Opportunities" in which from the industry, Microsoft Philanthropies India's CSR Head Kishore Thangavelu, Associate Dean from IIT Delhi Dr. Charu Monga and Dean of Faculty of Future Skills at Scope Global Skills University Preeti Maheshwari were present.

In this, experts expressed their views on continuous skill upgradation in view of the rapidly changing technology and increasing employment opportunities in AI, machine learning and AVGC.Earlier on July 18, Yuva Samvad was organized in collaboration with MP Press Club, in which Madhya Pradesh's Tourism and Culture Department Principal Secretary Shiv Shekhar Shukla and former IAS Rajiv Sharma were present as chief guests. On this occasion, Chancellor of Scope Global Skills University Dr. Siddharth Chaturvedi, Vice Chancellor Ajay Bhushan, Registrar Sitesh Kumar Sinha were also prominently present.

While interacting with the youth in the program, Shiv Shekhar Shukla talked about career opportunities in the tourism sector. Talking mainly in the context of Madhya Pradesh, he expressed his views on the emerging possibilities here. He also told that in the coming time, the audio-visual and gaming sector is growing rapidly and the way for high-income jobs is opening.

During the program, the launch of "PMKK Coffee Table Book", "MP Life Skill Gap Report" was done and the start of the third edition of Skill Championship was announced. On July 17, Learning and Development / Corporate HR of AISECT organized a special session on "AI Essentials for Educators" aimed at making teachers aware of the latest AI tools and best practices. In this session, Shabbir Haider, Founder, FutureLab Studio said, "AI is essential for teachers as it enhances student-specific teaching, organizes administrative tasks, explains to students more effectively and supports diverse teaching needs." Earlier, an industry round table discussion was organized on July 16. The program was inaugurated by Gautam Tetwal, Skill Development Minister (Independent Charge) of Madhya Pradesh on World Youth Skill Day.
