As the entire world celebrate the auspicious occasion of Diwali, with great zeal, prosperity and happiness. State Bank of India reaffirmed its commitment to serving those who are not fortunate enough to celebrate the occasion.
State Bank of India Bhopal Circle on October 29, 2024 under its CSR program distributed Diwali gifts bags containing sweets, Diyas and other gift items to 100 children belonging to poor families around the city.
The event was successfully conducted at Babanagar Anganwadi Shahpura Bhopal in association with a Non-profit organization, Mannat Social welfare Society.
The sole objective of this initiative was to bring happiness and cheer to underprivileged children during Diwali, promoting social welfare and community engagement. On this occasion Anupam Kumar from public relation department SBI Bhopal said that this initiative is part of SBI's Corporate Social Responsibility, aiming to bring joy and happiness to those in need. At SBI, we believe that our success is intertwined with the prosperity of the society we serve. On behalf of the Bank he wished all the children and their parents a very prosperous and happy Diwali.
On this auspicious occasion of Diwali, a rangoli competition was organized for the staff members as part of Diwali celebration at the SBI Local head office Bhopal. The event was celebrated with the presentation of cultural diversity which acted as a platform for the members to showcase their talent and fostered the sense of unity, inclusivity and creativity.
