On the instructions of Indore Collector Ashish Singh, a large-scale campaign has been started in the entire Indore district for revenue collection. Indore district is the industrial capital of Madhya Pradesh and the highest revenue giver to the state.
Under this revenue collection campaign, Diversion tax will be collected from the colonies and land given on lease on a priority basis. Indore collectorate headquarter ADM Sapna Lovanshi told The Pioneer that the target of revenue collection of Indore district by the end of March 2024 is Rs 120 crore, for which Indore Collector Ashish Singh has appointed all the 10 officers posted in all 10 tehsils of Indore district.
Instructions have been issued to all the SDMs of the tehsils. At present there are five urban tehsils in Indore district, two tehsils are urban and rural mix and three tehsils are completely rural. Colonies and farm houses have been constructed in the last several years in all the 10 tehsils of Indore district.
Indore Collector Ashish Singh, discussed in detail for the recovery of rs 120 crore pending tax from the colonizers and lease holders.. ADM Indore Headquarters Sapna Lovanshi told that till March 31, all the colonizers and lease holders who will not pay the government tax their land will be confiscated.
