Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is the central bank of India which regulates the financial and monetary system of the country. As a full-service central bank, RBI is committed to the promotion of financial education, financial inclusion and financial awareness along with these basic responsibilities.
This year on April 1, RBI entered its 90th year and on this proud occasion, the bank is organizing many programs across India. On this occasion, RBI, Ranchi Office has envisaged many innovative programs and innovative initiatives for the whole year. Under this, Ranchi Office has decided to organize awareness programs related to financial education and inclusion in 90 schools of the state, which will also include schools for children with special abilities.
In this series, the Reserve Bank of India, Ranchi office organized financial literacy programs at National University of Study and Research in Law, Ranchi and Sanatan Vidya Niketan on August 22.
In both the programs, Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India, Ranchi office Prem Ranjan Prasad Singh addressed the participants and highlighted the importance of financial literacy, financial inclusion and financial public awareness and highlighted its various aspects.
After the financial literacy program, Reserve Bank of India, Ranchi also organized a tree plantation program under which a total of 90 saplings were planted in both the educational institutions.
