Ahead of the Lok Sabha polls, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will unveil development projects worth Rs 869 crores in Sangrur district on Saturday.
Mann who will hold Vikas Kranti rally in Sangrur district will dedicate/ inaugurate and launch the foundation stone of these projects to give fillip to the development of the district, a statement said.
The Chief Minister will also address the gathering during a rally at Cheema village and apprise the people about various development projects. The key projects to be inaugurated by Mann include 80 bedded mother child hospital at Dhuri, 30 bedded Community Health centre at Kauhrian and 30 bedded Rural hospital at Cheema. These projects will act as a catalyst to impart quality healthcare services to the people of Sangrur district, the statement added.
Meanwhile, reiterating the firm commitment of the state government to ensure the welfare of every section of society, the Chief Minister said in a statement that no stone is being left unturned for this noble cause. He said that every single penny from the state exchequer is being spent judiciously for the progress of the state and prosperity of its people. He said that the state is witnessing a new era of unprecedented development and progress in every arena adding that in the last two years the dawn of a new era has taken place in the state.
