Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) National President and Union Minister Chirag Paswan has said that party would decide soon as would it contest Jharkhand assembly election in alliance with NDA or alone. We have strong following here in Jharkhand, said Paswan.
All would be final ahead of election notification, he added.
Addressing theJan Akrosh Rally at Nehru Sports Complex here he came down heavely on Hemant government holding it responsible for the plight of Jharkhand. The state has rich minerals despite the resources, the economy and infrastructure here have been pushed into backwardness by the present government.
From governance viewpoint, Chirag pointed out that corruption, administrative inefficiency and problems like political instability are said to be the biggest hurdle in the overall development of Jharkhand at present.
The Chief Minister of the state himself has gone to jail on serious charges of corruption and is still out on bail. How can we expect honesty from the government there?
LJP chief said from the stage that a large part of the revenue received from the central government comes to Dhanbad district.This is being provided through District Mineral Foundation (DMF) which aims to generate income from mining related activities.
The purpose is to work in the interest of the affected common people and areas but this fund will be used by the state.
The Hemant government is doing things arbitrarily. In a mineral-rich district like Dhanbad, there is a project worth Rs 600 crore pending, he claimed.
