SP Reeshma Ramesan said the arms haul has been made by the two police stations in Palamu namely Harihurganj and Chhaterpur.
Under the Harihurganj police station limits a 19 year old boy identified as Vivek Kumar has been caught with 3 country made weapons including 1 desi revolver and 2 desi kattas of different measurement.
Reeshma Ramesan said the guy used to work as middleman in the trade of the illicit arms.
Vivek Kumar is not alone in this unlawful activities. He hails from Aurangabad. He was caught in Jharkhand Palamu's Bhagat Tenduwa overbridge.
His co middlemen are Raja and Jyoti. Raja is of Palamu while Jyoti is of Buxar in Bihar.
SP said the police are tracking them as their catch by us will take the lid off this interstate arms transit for illicit trading.
Two youths were caught with 1 each desi katta by the Chhaterpur police station.
The two arrested have been identified as Subhash and Chhotu.
The three one of Harihurganj police station limits and two of the Chhaterpur police station limits were remanded in judicial custody today in Daltonganj.
