MP Power Transmission Company (MP Transco) has energized a 50 MVA Capacity power transformer at 132 KV substation at Dongrital in Singrauli district.
In view of the increasing demand for electricity from coal mine, industrial sector, agriculture and domestic consumers in Dongrital area, MP Transco has increased the capacity of the sub-station by replacing the power transformer of 20 MVA capacity with a power transformer of 50 MVA capacity Installed and energized.. With the installation of this transformer, the capacity of Dongrital substation increase to 70 MVA.
Bijak Kumar Priye, Executive Engineer of MP Transco Singrauli said that the energization of this transformer installed at an estimated cost of about Rs 5.76 crore has strengthened the transmission capacity of Singrauli district, this will help the industrial unit APMDCL and the region associated with Dongrital substation. More than 30,000 electricity consumers connected to 138 villages including Langhadol, Khanuankhas will be greatly benefited, now they will have access to quality electricity supply at proper voltage. Energy Minister Shri Pradyuman Singh Tomar congratulated M.P. Transco personnel for this success.
Transformation capacity of MP Transco increased to 79207MVA.
In Madhya Pradesh, MP Transco (Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company) transmits electricity through its 416 EHV sub-stations. With this capacity increase, the total transformation capacity of Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company has increased to 79207 MVA, which includes 35262 MVA in 132 KV, 32750 MVA in 220 KV, and 11195 MVA in 400 KV side is included.
A total of 1014 power transformers of MP Transco (Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company) are operational in the state.
