An FIR has been filed against the Chief Block Medical Officer (CBMO) of Parasia in Chhindwara for molestation. The case has been filed by a nursing officer posted in the health department. This is the second case of molestation filed against CBMO Dr. Pramod Vachak in a week.

Earlier on July 17, a lady doctor had filed a report at the Parasia police station.

The woman officer said that the incident happened on March 4. The CBMO called her to his clinic and held her hand and made a wrong demand.

Kotwali TI Umesh Golhani said that this is a case of molestation in the workplace. An FIR has been filed, a complaint will also be filed with his department.

The woman officer said that my job is to do mentoring visits. The CBMO's signature is necessary in the check list of mentoring visits. I reached his office for this on March 4. When I spoke to him on the mobile from there, he called me to his private clinic. This clinic is on Parasia Road.

The woman officer said, 'When I reached the clinic, the CBMO looked at me with dirty eyes. He said- What will you give me in exchange for the signature? I asked- Do you want money? He said- Who wants money? You are smart, what do I want..

CBMO Dr. Pramod Wachak came close and held my hand. I said sign, my uncle is standing outside. On this, he got nervous and immediately signed and gave the check list. I told this to my colleagues and family. Initially, I did not complain because I was scared. He used to threaten to stop my salary. When the doctor in Parasia filed a case against the CBMO, I also reached the police station.'

The woman officer has lodged an FIR against CBMO Dr. Pramod Wachak for molestation. Many women have complained against CBMO Dr. Pramod Wachak. Earlier, a staff nurse along with a CHO and ANM had also complained. In that case, the collector had suspended him. A year ago, he got a stay from the High Court.
