SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant joined the rest of the nation in observing Martyrs Day on 30th January 2024. Atanu Bhowmick, Director In-Charge, RSP with Additional Charge of Bokaro Steel Plant led the solemn observance at DIC Secretariat at 11.00 AM on the blowing of the plant siren.
Silence was observed at the same time in the offices of ED (Works), ED (Projects), ED (MM), ED (M&HS), ED (P&A), ED (Mines) and ED (F&A). S.R. Suryawanshi, ED (Works), P K Sahoo, ED (Projects), Somnath Tripathy, ED (MM), Dr. B K Hota, ED (M&HS), Alok Verma, ED (Mines) and A K Behuria, ED (F&A) led the memorial observance at their respective offices. Similar programmes were organised in various offices across the plant.
