Mainiyan Samman Yatra | Kaplana calls for unity in the fight for Jharkhand’s rights

In a powerful address at the heart of Kolhan’s revolution land, Kalpana Soren led her campaign, the Mainiyan Samman Yatra, rallying the people of Goilkera to stand united in the ongoing struggle for the protection of Jharkhand’s natural resources and cultural heritage. This marked her first visit to the historic town, where she received an overwhelming show of support from mothers, sisters, and brothers who had gathered in large numbers to hear her speak.

Kalpana Soren, a fierce advocate for the rights of Jharkhand, began by expressing her gratitude for the warm welcome, saying, “Today, I had the privilege of coming to Goilkera’s revolutionary land for the first time. Kudos to all the mothers, sisters, and brothers present here for giving their blessings to the Mainiyan Samman Yatra.” Her words resonated with the crowd, highlighting the deep connection between Jharkhand’s people and their land, as well as the ongoing fight to safeguard the state’s resources.

Kalpana Soren’s campaign focuses on the protection of water, forests, and land, which she emphasized as the core of Jharkhand’s identity and future. She delivered a scathing critique of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), accusing them of inviting external leaders as part of a conspiracy to exploit Jharkhand’s wealth. “You will see that BJP has invited many leaders from other states as part of a conspiracy trip,” she declared, pointing out what she sees as a larger agenda by the party to plunder the state’s resources.

The crux of her message was clear: BJP’s objective is to loot Jharkhand, and the only obstacle standing in their way is the leadership of Hemant Soren, the current Chief Minister. Kalpana Soren accused the BJP of actively conspiring against Hemant Soren because of his refusal to let the state’s resources be taken. “If Hemant ji is not allowing this to happen, the BJP is plotting against him,” she stated, drawing loud cheers from the crowd.

Kalpana Soren’s rallying cry was not just about defending Jharkhand’s resources but about uniting the people against external political forces. She urged the crowd to reflect on their loyalty and commitment to Hemant Soren, positioning him as the true leader of the people, someone who represents not just political power but the collective will and dignity of the state. “I want to ask all of you,” she passionately questioned, “are you with your grandfather, your brother, your son Hemant ji or not in this fight?”

Her words struck a chord with the audience, reinforcing the notion that the fight for Jharkhand’s future is deeply personal, connected to family, tradition, and the essence of Jharkhandi identity. The gathering at Goilkera was a testament to the growing support behind Kalpana Soren’s movement, with her message of unity and resistance against exploitation resonating with people across the region.

“ The Mainiyan Samman Yatra is not just a political campaign but a call to action for the people of Jharkhand to stand firm in the defense of their land, their resources, and their heritage. Kalpana Soren’s leadership has added a new dimension to the ongoing political discourse in the state, challenging the status quo and empowering Jharkhand’s people to reclaim control over their future,” said a JMM worker.

As the rally concluded, the crowd erupted in chants of solidarity, pledging their support to Hemant Soren’s leadership and Kalpana Soren’s vision for a self-reliant and prosperous Jharkhand. The Mainiyan Samman Yatra has only just begun, and the people of Jharkhand seem ready to follow Kalpana Soren in her fight to protect the state’s interests from external threats.
