Ruling party in the State, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), on Tuesday, replied Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State Chief, Babulal Marandi’s tweet in which it was mentioned that informer will get Rs 11,000 reward for providing Chief Minister, Hemant Soren’s information. The JMM said that Marandi lost his mental balance and the party will spend Rs 11 lakh for his treatment.
Addressing a press meet at the party headquarter in the State Capital, JMM Spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya said that a criminal case will be filed against BJP leaders soon. Taking aim at Babulal Marandi, he said that what he did was the height of violation of dignity and privacy. “Marandi even announced a reward of Rs 11,000 to the person who finds CM Hemant. Babulal has lost his mental balance. He needs a psychiatrist. JMM will give a reward of Rs 11 lakh to any doctor who treats him,” he added. He also said that Babulal has reached old age and JMM has knowledge of how his mind thinks.
On the question of CM Hemant Soren going to Delhi, the party Spokesperson said that he had informed the media about it yesterday itself. “Still, the rumour that his location was not known was spread. The opposition leaders did the work of confusing the public,” he added. He also said that CM Hemant has gone to Delhi for personal work and will also return. When BJP leaders reached the police station to file a missing report, he said that they should feel ashamed. Raising questions on the ED, he said on whose orders the officers of the investigating agency reached the CM's Delhi residence ahead of time and whereas the time has already been fixed by the CM to meet the ED.
ED has recovered Rs 36 lakh cash from CM Hemant's Delhi residence. Bhattacharya questioned whether it could not be planted by a leader like Babulal Marandi or by the ED. He said that on whose orders the ED team reached the CM's residence to search his residence in the absence of the CM and these things should be investigated. He said that BJP should know that at present Sita Soren is also in Delhi and Ramdas Soren is also undergoing treatment in Delhi, so should they be declared missing?
