JMM National General Secretary Supriyo Bhattacharya today said in a press conference that in this election, CM Hemant Soren has established a new dimension, which will give more speed to the development of the state than before. He said that after the formation of the Cabinet, he warned his colleagues on the very first day that how important it is for them to remain in the Cabinet in public interest. He said, we started the program 'Sarkar Aapke Dwar', under which BDO CO and other officials set up camps in every village. He said that now the ministers have also been told that they will review their respective departments at the district level.
Bhattacharya said that the Legislative Assembly will also be formed constitutionally from the 9th. He said that this council of ministers will work under the promises made in our manifesto. He said that the commitments made by the government under the Mainiya Samman Yojana will be fulfilled.
The JMM leader said that communicate directly with the people affected by the schemes. Listen to those who are facing difficulties. Said, and not only the MLA, whoever is the public representative of that area, even if he is a member of the ward, establish a dialogue with them as well. There should be no party feeling in this. Our priority should be to serve the people honestly, because the public has given the responsibility to CM Hemant Soren to draw a new line.
Bhattacharya said that it is the responsibility of the entire Council of Ministers to fulfill this responsibility. He said that this Council of Ministers is perhaps the first such Council of Ministers in which OBCs have been given the maximum representation. Seven ministers have been made from this class. After this, there are ministers from the tribal group. They have also got region-wise representation. This is a holistic cabinet. Among the MLAs who have been elected this time, the OBC community has the largest participation.
Earlier only certain castes used to get its benefit. But this time it has been established that there should be development of all. The faith of all people is with this government. Said, while such high standards are being set, the low level activities being carried out by the BJP are bringing shame to democracy.
He said that a glimpse of this was seen in the Rajya Sabha on Friday. When the opposition was talking about the welfare of farmers in the Rajya Sabha, on the other hand bullets were being fired at farmers at Shambhu border. We know, a responsibility has come upon us. And we have to fulfil our responsibilities. He said that in the name of infrastructure, from 2014 to 2019, attempts were made to stop the events organised on the utility of the state's capital investment.
