Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, while paying tribute to the martyrdom of the brave martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the protection of the country, announced to name the Government College Bansagar Beohari after Shaheed Govind Prasad Mishra. He also announced to give a government job to his wife.
CM Yadav was addressing the ceremony organised in Beohari of Shahdol district under Jankalyan Parv on Saturday. Chief Minister Yadav dedicated 22 development works worth Rs. 31.68 crore and performed bhoomi pujan for 40 development works worth Rs. 320.7 crore. He also distributed benefits under various beneficiary-oriented schemes.
Chief Minister Yadav said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India's flag is flying high all over the world. The country is moving towards economic prosperity. Leaving England behind, India has emerged as an economic power. The CM said that Swami Vivekananda had said that the 21st century will belong to India.
Prime Minister Modi has proved it. The Chief Minister said that Madhya Pradesh will be connected with the basic mantra of Prime Minister Modi "Work for every hand, water for every field, water is life".
It is a matter of joy for us that the Prime Minister will gift the Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal river link project on December 17 and the Ken-Betwa river link project in Bundelkhand region on December 25. These projects will provide water to every field in Malwa and Bundelkhand.
Chief Minister Yadav said that on completion of one year of the state government, "Mukhya Mantri Jankalyan Abhiyan" is being run with the inspiration of Prime Minister Modi. In this 40-day long campaign, door-to-door survey will be conducted to identify eligible citizens who have been deprived of government schemes and they will be benefited through the public welfare schemes of the government.
He said that every day in the Jankalyan Parv, the people of the state are getting gifts of development works. The quality of all these development works will be strictly monitored. He administered a pledge to the attending public representatives that they will participate in the effective implementation of the campaign, so that no eligible beneficiary is deprived of the benefits of the scheme.
Chief Minister Yadav praised the features of Sarsi Island and said that Sarsi Island of Shahdol district is full of natural beauty, it is no less than the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Shahdol district is rich and full of water, forest, mineral wealth and wildlife. Through this, tourism will get a boost in the area and youth will get employment opportunities.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Yadav and Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla were honored by presenting shawl and shrifal. A photo of Mata Shabari was also presented. MLA Jaisinghnagar Manisha Singh, MLA Jaitpur Jaisingh Maravi, District Panchayat Chairperson Prabha Mishra, Member District Planning Committee Kamal Pratap Singh, public representatives, officials and a large number of citizens were present in the programme.
