Heavy rains witnessed in many districts including Bhopal and indore, more rains on cards

Strong monsoon activity was seen in Madhya Pradesh on Saturday. Heavy rains occurred in many districts including Bhopal. Three people died due to lightning in Rewa. Roads were flooded after heavy rains in Indore. There is a long jam at many places.

Meanwhile, Mandla, Dhar, Narmadapuram, Pachmarhi, Ratlam and Ujjain also received rain. One and a quarter inch rain was recorded in Malajkhand and Seoni of Balaghat, one inch in Umaria and Khajuraho. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rain in many districts in the next few hours.

Heavy rains continued in Bhopal from Saturday afternoon onwards. Heavy rains occurred in many areas including MP Nagar, Tulsi Nagar, New Market, Kolar, Raisen Road. 1 inch of rain was recorded in one day. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rains for the next 3 days.

In Indore, torrential rains on Saturday afternoon have drenched the city. When the rain started with strong winds, the roads were flooded. Power went out in some areas. In about 40 minutes of heavy rain, 15 MM (more than half an inch) of water fell.

This caused waterlogging in many areas including Khajrana Square, AB Road BRTS, Canada Bypass Square, Gokul Nagar. There is a long jam at many places.

Heavy rain has continued in Bhopal since Saturday afternoon. Heavy rain occurred in many areas including MP Nagar, Tulsi Nagar, New Market, Kolar, Raisen Road. Light rain occurred at many places. The city has received 1 inch of rain in a day. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rain for the next 3 days. It has been raining in the city for the last 9 days.

The rain in June has broken the record of 2 years. So far 8.9 inches of water has fallen, which is 2 inches more than last year. At the same time, the highest rainfall has occurred for the third time in 10 years. Heavy rain will continue on Sunday as well.

In such a situation, the record of the year 2021 is likely to break. This year 10.5 inches of rain was recorded. It has been raining in Bhopal since June 21. It rained for 9 consecutive days. Due to this, the rainfall figure has increased and the average rainfall amount of June has also been full.

The Meteorological Department has also issued an alert of heavy rain for the next 4 days i.e., June 30, July 1, 2 and 3. Heavy rain is expected on Sunday.

There is an orange alert for rain on June 30 and July 1. Heavy rain may also occur on July 2. Due to rain, day and night temperatures may drop.
