Govt deviated from its commitment: Sudesh Mahto

Monday, 30 September 2024 | PNS | Ranchi

The government's intention behind the respect it is giving to the people needs to be understood and the government that promised to end the contract system is giving big advertisements on giving contract based jobs. This government has deviated from its commitment, said AJSU Party Chief Sudesh Mahto on Sunday.

Mahto said this in the Silli Vidhansabha level Yuva Samvad program organized at Silli Stadium, Silli. He said that the youth who had to fulfill the responsibility of their family and work for development, are today on the streets due to the wrong policies of the government and are getting beaten up by the government.

"The role of youth power is important to take the state on the path of progress. If the youth got employment opportunities within the state, Jharkhand would have benefited from their energy and talent, but due to not getting proper opportunities, the youth are forced to migrate. This is affecting the development of our state," said Mahto.

The party Chief said that the working style of the government has disappointed the youth as well as every section of the society. "Unemployment is also one of the reasons for the rising crime in the state. The youth who see their future in darkness are getting frustrated and are turning to drugs and crime. This is a matter of great concern. Our plan is to provide employment to every youth. We have to ensure that the income is 300 rupees per day instead of 33 rupees," he added.

"This government which slept for four years did not think about the public. Now seeing the elections near, they are remembering the public. The government which is talking about giving free electricity should first make arrangements to provide uninterrupted electricity to the people. The loans of many hardworking and needy farmers of the state have not been waived because agricultural loans are also being waived for those who are not farmers. The people of the state are not going to be deceived by them now," Mahto said.

The party Chief said that we understand the needs of the state. "With strong willpower, we can build a better and developed Jharkhand. It is the responsibility of all you youths to ensure that not even a single youth from the village goes astray. We are prepared to bring forward new thinking for the development of the state. AJSU is a strong platform to enhance and develop the capabilities of the youth. We all have to work together to improve the state," he added.

On this occasion, AJSU Party's Organization Secretary Jaipal Singh, Secretary Sunil Singh, Sanjay Siddharth, Sushil Mahato, Chit Ranjan Mahato, Gautam Krishna Sahu, Zilla Parishad Vice President Veena Chaudhary, Jitendra Badaik, Aarti Devi, Susen Pramanik, Rabindra Karmali, Silli CO Arunima Ekka, Anil Manjhi, Haripad Manjhi, Meera Devi, Somri Devi etc. were mainly present.
