Jharkhand's largest consumer fair Expo Utsav 2024 was inaugurated with great pomp by the Jharkhand Governor Santosh Gangwar at Morhabadi Ground on Thursday.
After the inauguration, the Governor visited various stalls and inquired about the goods and services displayed there. Gangwar praised JCI Ranchi for organizing this grand event and called it an important step for the business development of the state. "This event provides a big platform to the youth and entrepreneurs, from which they can showcase their innovation and skills,” said Gangwar. Describing the event as an important contribution to the development and business of the State and the Governor also said that through Expo Utsav small and new entrepreneurs are also getting an opportunity to reach out to customers on a large scale.
JCI Ranchi President JC Vikram Chaudhary thanked all the stall holders, participants and media present and said, "Expo Utsav is being organized with more grandeur every year and all the associates and members have contributed a lot to its success. This year we are trying to take the Expo to new heights where special arrangements have been made for people of all age groups."
Chief Coordinator JC Shyam Anurag informed that more than 350 stalls from different countries and states have been set up in the Expo from where every type of goods from needle to car will be available. "This consumer fair is not only a place for shopping, but also a big platform for entrepreneurs to display their products and services. Here special care has been taken to provide entertainment, shopping and excellent food for every section," said Anurag.
Former Rajya Sabha MP Mahesh Poddar was also present in the program. Poddar said, "I have been associated with Expo and JCI for years and it is a matter of pride to see this event being organised with such grandeur. The event is setting new dimensions every year due to the hard work of young entrepreneurs and organisers."
Expo Utsav 2024 will have many special attractions including Fungola Amusement Park, Pink Hangar, Food Zone, and Furniture Zone. Apart from this, various competitions like dance, painting, yoga, fashion show, tambola, healthy baby and mom show and Voice of Expo will be organised in the next 6 days, which will bring special entertainment for people of all ages.
