Kamla Nagar police have registered a case of atrocity, assault and making indecent video viral by keeping the victim girl captive by the accused.
Police said that the accused acquaintance, who took her on his bike to a rented house and raped her and made a video.
The accused continued to physically exploit her while threatening to make the video viral. When the student protested, the accused sent the video to the student's father. The police have arrested the accused student.
This incident originally happened with a 19-year-old student, resident of Sehore, in the month of January. She is graduating from a private college in Bhopal.
TI Nirupa Pandey told that in those days the student used to live in a rented room in Kamla Nagar area. Raja Wagle, a resident of Sehore was acquaintaned with the victim. It is alleged that taking advantage, the accused took her to his room on a bike on January 21. Here he held her hostage and tortured her and also made a video.
After this, he continued to physically exploit her by threatening to make the same video viral. One day when the student protested against this, the accused sent the video to the student's father. After this the student's family came to know about the incident. When the family spoke, the student narrated her ordeal. After this the student lodged a case in Kamla Nagar police station. The police have arrested the accused Raja.
