Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) is gearing up for the grand event of Culmination of Silver Jubilee Celebrations cum Foundation Day to be held on December 12. This momentous occasion marks 25 years of academic brilliance, societal impact, and innovation while unveiling a transformative vision for the future. The event will be graced by Lieutenant Governor and Chancellor of GGSIPU, Vinai Kumar Saxena, Chief Minister Atishi,Chief Secretary Dharmendra, and Nandini Paliwal, Secretary (Higher Education).
The GGSIPU said in a statement that the celebration will witness the inauguration of several milestone projects, including an Amphitheatre cum Recharge Basin, University Health Centre at Dwarka campus and Industrial Robotics Lab, and a state of the art TV Studio at the East campus.The University will also launch its very own IPU Community Radio Station to strengthen its community engagement.
“The program will be showcase cultural and academic highlights, such as classical dance performances and exhibitions highlighting the journey of its schools and colleges. A creative ‘Hunar Haat’ in the premises will showcase the traditional legacy of the country. Historic releases will include the Silver Jubilee Postal Stamp, a commemorative coin, the Vision@2047 Roadmap, the updated University Calendar 2024, and the unveiling of the new University Logo. The event will also honor faculty, staff and affiliated colleges who have made significant contributions to the university’s legacy,” it said.
