Ramana police seized 1.481 kilogram of marijuana from the house of one Jitendra Pathak a native of Manohar village under same police station, on Sunday.
The police acted on an intelligence input led by SDPO Nagar Untari Satyendra Singh indicating Illegal purchase and sale of marijuana is being done by a person in Manohar village at large large.
Police was taken to the Pathak into police custody. When police asked about the said ganja, he told that he buys and sells ganja, Superintendent of Police Deepak Kumar Pandey said and adding, a Case under sections of 20 (b) (i) NDPS Act was registered against the accused and he sent to the judicial custody.
