Deputy Commissioner suspended the senior clerk Ramashish Paswan, posted at Kandi Circle Office for dereliction of duty, on Friday.
According to IPRD information, the records for payment of compensation to the person who died in a road accident were submitted late to the Additional Collector, Garhwa through the Land Reforms Sub-Collector. Due to which the ex-gratia amount to be given to the family of the deceased could not be paid on time and the counter affidavit could not be filed in the Court on time.
It has been clarified in this case that Paswan deliberately harassed the beneficiary unnecessarily in paying the compensation amount, which is indicative of his negligence and wrong intention. He also ignored the conduct contrary to the Jharkhand Government Servant Conduct Rules.
A departmental proceedings would be initiated against him. During the suspension period, the headquarter of Paswan has been fixed as Circle Office, Ketar, where he will mark his attendance. On the basis of the absence statement, he will be paid the subsistence allowance under the provisions mentioned in the Jharkhand Government Servant Rules from the Circle Office, Kandi.
