The event also featured a guest lecture by Prof. (Dr.) Praveen Kumar, Director, Department of Pediatrics, LHMC & Kalawati Saran Children's Hospital, New Delhi. Prof. Kumar delivered an insightful lecture on "Nutritional Care of Severely Malnourished Children" providing detailed information on child nutrition and its vital role in managing acute malnutrition in children. His lecture underscored the importance of early and effective nutritional interventions in improving child health outcomes.
During the program, Dr. Abhijit Pakhare presented the department's achievements over the past year, highlighting the significant progress made in various community health initiatives. The event also saw the unveiling of the CSAM 2023-2024 report and the inauguration of the AMB dashboard, which will further aid in monitoring and improving public health metrics. Additionally, individuals who made outstanding contributions to the department's initiatives were honored for their achievements.
